UVDI’s V-PAC™ Photo-Catalytic Oxidation Air Cleaner provides Lucky Eagle with advanced energy efficient air cleaning technologies.
As part of an ongoing commitment to provide the cleanest air possible in their facility, Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel has found a state-of-the-art solution to remove smoke from the air: The V-PAC™ Catalytic Oxidation Air Cleaner from Ultra-Violet Devices, Inc. (UVDI). The system was chosen based on its proven performance and energy efficiency in removing smoke from confined spaces.
“The V-PAC™ system has taken our clean air and energy efficiency initiatives to entirely new levels,” said Jeff Young, Lucky Eagle Director of Facilities. “Our guests and team members noticed the difference almost immediately following installation.”
UVDI’s V-PAC™ system combines three air disinfection and cleaning technologies:
- An ultraviolet (UV-C) array to provide air disinfection of viruses and bacteria and activate the Photo Catalytic Oxidation air cleaning process.
- Photo-catalytic panels to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odors.
- An advanced bonded carbon filter to eliminate heavy VOCs and odor spikes from occupied spaces.
“The system installed at Lucky Eagle Casino provides efficient air contaminant and odor removal by combining UV-C, Ti02 and carbon filtration,” said David Heidel, Director, Airside Sales and Marketing, UltraViolet Devices, Inc. “Casino guests and team members can take comfort in knowing they are breathing the cleanest air possible.”
Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel is owned and operated by the Chehalis Tribe. The casino features more than 1,000 slot machines, blackjack, craps, roulette, keno and bingo. The 171-room Hotel is connected to the casino.
