HMB™ V-Bank Filters

The High Mass Bonded (HMB™) V-Bank Filter utilizes a proprietary carbon bonding process resulting in superior odor control and removal of volatile organic compounds, airborne particulates and pollutants. Versatile and modular construction facilitates easy system design for new installations or for retrofitting existing duct systems or air handlers.

The filter is constructed of multiple bonded panels of high quality activated carbon arranged in a "V" configuration and sealed in a heavy duty galvanized steel frame using non-off-gassing urethane potting. Each individual panel includes a "pre" and  "post" filter to provide particulate filtration and help prolong the filter service life by preventing carbon from blinding.

BPS™ DM Single V-Module

The BPS™ DM Series activated carbon filters are compact single V modules designed to efficiently remove a wide range of odors and common airborne pollutants. The panels are sealed to a frame and end capped to prevent bypass through the module. The product is designed for use in most side and front access housings. Various impregnations are offered to target specific contaminant gases. The BPS™ DM is the choice for advanced chemical air filter technology for a variety of applications.

Utilizing a patented bonding technique, the carbon maintains its high absorptive properties and exhibits many advantages over loose carbon-filled filters. There is no loss of efficiency due to settling or by-pass. The BPS™ DM filter is cleaner and easier to use than loose trays or honeycomb panels.

Designed as direct replacements for refillable cassette style media trays.

The HEGA™ Series

The High Efficiency Gas Adsorber (HEGA™) Series V-Bank carbon filters are designed to efficiently remove a wide range of low concentration contaminants found in outdoor air as well as fugitive toxic gases and odors found in manufacturing facilities. It is a filter of choice for high efficiency removal for airborne molecular contamination in recirculation and make-up air systems. The HEGA V-Bank filters are constructed of multiple panels of activated carbon pleated media arranged in a "V" configuration and secured in a metal frame.

This advanced technology provides exceptionally high efficiency and capacity in light weight, versatile filter. The filters are configured in a variety of sizes that will easily fit into existing HVAC units and air handlers. The filters can be either forward or reverse mounted without performance loss. Various impregnations are offered to target specific contaminant gases. The filters are disposable, easy to install and cost-efficient.

General Description
Filter is designed for total-retention gaseous contamination control.

Construction
Filter is constructed of multiple bonded carbon panels arranged in a “V” configuration enclosed in a all galvanized steel frame with a header. The individual panels have anti-microbial non-woven polyester pre and post filters. The panels and polyester are sealed to the frame to prevent bypass.

Performance
The activated carbon has a minimum activity of 60% CTC per the ASTM-D-3467 test method.  The binder will not decrease the pore volume by more than 2% as measured by BET.

A 24" x 24" x 12" filter contains no less than 30 lbs. of activated carbon on average and a 12" x 24" x 12" filter no less than 12 lbs. on average.

Each filter is individually sealed in a plastic bag before being placed in individual cartons at the factory.  The cartons are palletized, stretch wrapped and banded to prevent damage during transport and storage.
